About Me

Hello. My name is Adam Ruth.

I am a 27 year old designer living in a small town outside of Philadelphia where I have lived my whole life. As a young boy I always knew I wanted to be an artist. Instead of watching cartoons on weekend mornings, I had a pencil in my hand sketching my own characters. My passion for art continued to grow over the years leading me to further my talent at the Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, Georgia. This was a time in my life when I discovered my own identity as an artist as well as the skills I had a talent for.

Originally an Illustration major, I developed a growing interest in the field of advertising and graphic design. When I finally switched my major during my sophomore year of college, I felt a sense of positivity and excitement for what was to come.

After graduating from SCAD with a B.F.A. in Advertising Design, I tried my hand at freelancing for the time being; designing logos, business cards and web experiments. As the summer came to an end, I landed a job at Oxford Communications, a full-service advertising agency in Lambertville, NJ.

During my time at Oxford I have attempted to make my mark in the design world. With only a few years under my belt, I have won awards, developed successful campaigns and have substantially grown as a designer and as a person.

I am always looking to improve my work and meet new people. If you like some of the work you have seen, please send me a message or give me a call. Thanks for checking out my portfolio.
